Welcome to another great new year.  This will be my third year at Donna Shepard Intermediate School and I could not be more excited to be return.

     Last year we expanded our happy family by one with the birth of our second little boy within the first week of school.  His older brother has been an amazing help and loves playing with his baby brother.

 

     I could not have asked to be in a better place again this year than DSIS.  I am super excited to see so many bright, energetic, eager faces each and every day.  It has truly made my transition as a mommy for the second time a much easier experience than I ever could have imagined.  My goal is to make this one of the best years for your child as well.  With all of us working together, I know that is full of endless possibilities.

 

     Science has always been one of my favorite subjects after learning you can get messy and learn at the same time.  I love bringing students hand-on lessons that connect the real world to what we are learning in a way they may have never seen before.  It's a great day when you see that "ah-ha" moment in their eyes and their faces light up when they "get" what you are talking about.

 

     If you ever have any questions about how your child is doing, what they are doing, or even just want to say hi, please do not hesitate to contact me.   My planning is from 9:45 - 10:50.  E-mail is always the easiest, fastest way for me to get back with you.  If sent through Skyward please be advised it may take me a day to respond.  If directed through your e-mail I may see quicker and respond sooner.
